Type E Stainless Steel 316 fitting means Male Adaptor by Hose Tail – The ‘E’ type camlock has a male camlock on one end and a male hose tail on the other. The male camlock end will accept any female camlock adaptor and the hose tail is inserted inside any hose of the correct size and secured with a heavy duty all stainless steel bolt clamp.
Female Coupler by Female BSP Thread – The “D” type camlocks have a female camlock end and a female BSP thread of the same size. The female camlock end fits into any male camlock fitting of the same size. Type D Black Camlock Couplers are often used with Type A adapters, and sometimes be used with Type E & F and Type DP (Dust Plug) of the same size. PP couplers are equipped with stainless steel handles, rings and pins to extend life expectancy.
